The Illinois Court-Based Rental Assistance Program (CBRAP) provides up to $10,000 in funding to Illinois tenants and landlords across Illinois who have pending cases in eviction court. CBRAP assistance covers up to 15 months of past-due rent and two months of future rent payments to prevent eviction.

CBRAP grants are subject to availability and a submitted application is not a guarantee of approval or funding.

EXPECT DELAYS

Construction will be taking place in Spring 2023- Fall 2023. Expect delays in the villages of Ford Heights, Chicago Heights, Sauk Village, and Bloom Township. Travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

LIHEAP PROGRAM

The LIHEAP program will be beginning soon! Starting October 2nd,2023 through August 15th, 2024, or until funds are exhausted.

All programs are FREE!

Utility assistance programs are funded through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity(DCEO). There is NO FEE to apply for assistance.

Vehicle Sticker Pricing

Vehicle sticker renewal for 2023: Stickers are due to be displayed by Feb 1st, 2023 in order to avoid any penalty and or ticket. You can purchase your sticker in person at the Village Hall.
